Look What the Lord is Doing!God is at work! I wanted to take a couple of minutes to highlight three of the Shout Out's we received this week. We are hearing from the residents at SOME (So Others May Eat) how much they appreciate Crossroads especially those coming out to minister on Wednesday evenings. They are feeling accepted and a part of a family which is huge. They are engaging and opening up as they trust us more and more. Thanks to each one of you for pouring out the love of God to these men and women. Praise God Last week in service Carole shared how she had been experiencing intense neck and shoulder pain for the past two weeks. In the middle of worship while she was singing God healed her! Lisha Shares how, from January to April of this year, she was having terrible ulcers in her throat and mouth making it very painful for her to swallow, eat, or even talk. Her doctor tried everything and ran many tests but couldn’t figure out what was causing it. She referred her to an ENT for a biopsy to test for cancer or an autoimmune disease. She had people praying for her that it wasn’t either. In the meantime, she attended the Dove International Conference. While there the Lord spoke to her and said, “I am the God Who heals you!” She rejoiced in the assurance from the Lord. Upon returning she had the biopsy. During the waiting time, her regular doctor was on maternity leave, so she called her backup to ask what she should do next. That doctor mentioned she determined an allergic reaction with her blood pressure medicine could cause these mouth ulcers, and promptly switched her to a different med. That was more than a month ago, and she has not had any more ulcers in my mouth, praise God! His Spirit of revelation was at work to bring about her healing and He reassured her of it ahead of time! She also received the results that there was no cancer or autoimmune disease! Praise God for healing! I am excited about these testimonies and how we see God working in the Crossroads family. I am equally excited to hear what God is doing amongst our youth and this week we will get an opportunity to hear it firsthand.
